Kitesurfing

Kitesurfing at Sidi Kaouki for all levels from the beginner to the crack freestyle or wave riding.

The conditions at Sidi Kaouki are perfect for your first dry training. IKO level 2 teachers helping you to make great efforts. Just a little bit easier. Endless wide lonely sandy beach without any risk in getting in trouble with anyone or anything even in training of bodydrag. Constant blowing wind helps you to get very fast a comfort feeling for the kite. Not even one stone or rock in the water will handicap you.

Cracks will love the clean beachbreack with sideshore conditions to use the Atlantic as their playground. Nearly everyday you will have he chance to go into water here you will find always more wind than in he surrounding of Essaouira.

Surfing

There are quit a few spots in Sidi Kaouki and around. Parts you can reach with a normal car and some walking others you have to take a 4×4.

Just in front of the station there is a beautiful right, sometimes also a left, starting at a reef. For beginners there is a large sandbeach where they can practice all day long. At the end of the beach in the south there is a really good left which takes big sweels as well!

If you drive a little bit around you find small bays with nice waves which are only for you and your friends.

Windsurfing

Sidi Kaouki belongs to one of the top world spots in one line with Hookipa and Sunset Beach. Save that here you have a lot more space and nice waves just waiting for you. 

Clean water, dramatic scenery and big wind in combination with perfect waves – what do you want more?

In the 5 km bay, you will find enough space to ride on the clean shore broken waves which are between 1-3 m high.

There are not many spots in the world where it is so comfortable to hit the waves. You do not have dangers such as cutting open your feet, etc.

Morocco

You are approximately only 4 airplane hours and a couple of mouse clicks away from your dream spot.

Sidi Kaouki

Sidi Kaouki is located 150 km North from Agadir and 28 km South Essaouira directly on the Atlantic coast. This easy−going town has been known for a wonder healer called Kaouki who lived in the Marabout. People have pilgered to this town for over 500 years and up until now, the beach has not lost any of it´s mystical power.

This piece of earth is known worldwide for it´s dreamy surf possibilities. It is the crème d´crème for enthusiastically wavers. In the 5 km bay you will find enough spots to ride on the clean shore broken waves which are between 1-3 m high.

Essaouira

The next largest city Essaouira has been called the pearl of Morocco. Artists from the whole world gather here enjoying the history and charm of this city. You will really enjoy the activities in the small streets and marketplaces of Medina.

Enjoy the town beach, see the fishermen at the port with their blue wooden boats, explore the narrow streets of the old Medina. In Essaouira there are many small cafeterias and restaurants, from gourmet to very affordable local traditional meals.

There are  lot of yearly music festivals in Essaouira, as well as art exhibitions and galleries. And don't forget the argan oil produced in this area.

You easily get to Essaouira with a bus every other hour or you can take a taxi.
